Dennis D'Amico is Marketing and communications Director at Estra S.p.A., 8th largest Italian energy utility, where he also
manages R&D projects in various fields such as Smart Home, IoT, retailing.
Dennis started his career in 1999 at the advertising agency Arian, Lowe and Travis (Chicago) and later at iXL Enterprises (now a division of Microsoft) both in Chicago and London. He then progressively moved towards establishing himself as a trusted advisor for large public companies in Italy. Most recently, joined the energy utility Estra during a delicate time of aggressive growth. As President of the telecom division, participated in the M&A activities at enterprise-wide level and eventually took over the entire media business unit.
He holds a BA (Hons) in International Business from the European School of Economics at Nottingham Trent University, a specialization certificate in Digital Marketing from Google Squared and a certificate in Management Strategy from the Andersen Consulting School at DePaul University. Dennis is a member of the IPA (the professional body for advertising, media and marketing communications agencies in the United Kingdom) and occasionally teaches at the University of Florence.
Estra S.p.A. is the 8th largest italian energy utility, serving more than 800.000 households nationwide (both under the brand Estra and PrometeoEstra) and almost one billion euros in revenue.
